APPLICATION RATES

DRY FORMULATION: Initially apply 1 lb. / ½ kg of product per 2 cubic yards of organic matter and thoroughly wet pile. Reapply 1 - 2 weeks later when turning pile, using ½ lb. / ¼ kg of product per 2 cubic yards of organic matter.
LIQUID FORMULATION: Dilute the concentrate 1:10 - 1:20 depending upon complexity of organic matter involved and how quickly you want the degradation process to occur. Apply 1 - 2 gallons / 3.8 - 7.6 liters of diluted product mix per 1 cubic yard of organic matter. Reapply 1- 2 weeks later when turning the pile, using ½ - 1 gallon / 1.9 - 3.8 liters of diluted product mixture per cubic yard of organic matter.

  • When using liquid formulation Organica recommends adding 1 gallon of feed grade molasses per 10 gallons / 38 liters of liquid concentrate. This provides a supplemental carbohydrate source which jumpstarts the pile.
  • Piles should be turned and wet down periodically to expedite the biodegradation process. If your piles contain a high level of wood chips it is advisable to add an organic source of nitrogen to bring the carbon: nitrogen ratio into an acceptable range.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
