Organica Compost Tea Starter is a fermentation derived microbial package, which has been formulated specifically for compost tea brewers. It is designed to take the guess - work out of preparing compost teas for turf, ornamental and agricultural applications. Organica incorporates a variety of beneficial soil bacteria, actinomycees and fungi into this starter package thereby providing you with a known, quantifiable end product. In addition to the biological component the formulation also provides your tea with the proper carbon to nitrogen ratio, amino acid profile and nutrient package to expedite microbial growth and stability. Independent studies have shown that properly prepared compost teas have the ability to stimulate plant growth and drastically improve crop yield. DIRECTIONS FOR USE / APPLICATION RATES
Add eight- ounces of Compost Tea Starter per 20 gallons of tank capacity, (forms a water soluble suspension) Allow mixture to brew for 48 hours. Provide as much aeration as possible (5 - 6 % DO is ideal) and keep system temperature between 50 - 100 degrees F. Apply finished tea to soil and foliage at the rate of 32 - 48 oz per 1000 sq. ft / 11 - 16 gallons per acre. Use higher rate on plants exposed to environmental extremes (heat, cold, drought). Tea concentrate may be diluted in a sufficient volume of water to achieve desired coverage. If you are using formulation primarily as a foliar spray adding 1-2 quarts of feed grade molasses per acre will help mixture adhere to leaf surface and provide an additional food source for beneficial microbial species! Apply at 4 - 6 week intervals. Use clean fresh water and avoid using a water source high in chlorine and fluorine.
NON PLANT FOOD ANALYSIS
Contains a proprietary blend of fermentation derived, naturally occurring soil microorganisms from the following genera (Bacillus, Streptomycetes, Trichoderma) @ a minimum concentration of 10,000,000,000 CFU per gram. Additionally it contains a complete microbial nutrient package including simple sugars, humates, kelp, amino acids and vitamins.
